Folsom Prison Blues

To play Folsom Prison Blues as it's arranged on the handout I gave you in class today, you'll need to know your E major, A major and B7 chords. Use the E major and A major chords shown in the handout I provided.

Here's what a first-position B7 chord looks like (strum from the fifth string down):


I shot the following video today after class to give you a taste of the song. I am strumming with the "boom-chick" pattern, which means my right hand is alternating between bass notes and strums on the treble strings. From the second verse onward, I am adding some bass runs and hammer-ons for variety. I'm afraid I omitted a verse, but this should be enough to get you started.
